The Nashville Sounds Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization that primarily directs support to disadvantaged youth, development and educational programs, youth baseball programs, and medical research organizations. Preference is given to organizations and requests that address one or more of these areas of focus.The Foundation is funded through monetary donations from Sounds operations; private donations, grant organizations, memorabilia auctions, and in-game custom public address announcements.The Foundation is heavily funded by sponsors and fan participation related to our Reading Club, which reaches over 87,000 children in over 300 schools in the Middle Tennessee and Southern Kentucky region.
The mission of Minor League Baseball Charities is to give back and to enhance communities that have supported our Member Clubs for over 100 years. When hardship strikes one of our member cities and surrounding communities we will be there to provide a positive example that will impact the communities we live and work in. Minor League Baseball Charities will set an example by working with established charities for the greater good and by identifying worthy causes for support through the central office along with the aid of our Member Clubs.
